Description:

Interaction, dynamics, intensity and fun of playing are the driving forces in the music
of this Dutch band.
The compositions are rooted in jazz with elements of contemporary improvised music,
mixed with the rhythm, groove and the atmosphere of styles from around the world.
It is played from a free attitude towards the pieces which always gives rise to other angles.
That gives percussionist OnnoWitte the opportunity to apply his surprising style in which
he is taking advantage of a large number of colours and sounds and rhythmic possibilities.
Bassplayer Wiro Mahieu appears in unexpected places in the music. He strives for melodic
low that is full of contrasts in themes and in solos, but the bass does not only act as bass. His
guide, the give and take of musical space, provides a distinct dimension.
Bernhard Reinke in his game makes use of the many different variations of the
guitar -sound: the tone can be jazzy and hot, corrosive and bright, the melodies attractive
or dissonant, the chords whimsical or beautiful and soft. The music of this trio may be
light, heavy, swinging, sad or happy, but also powerful or whirling.
